The first week of Lent, from Ash Wednesday, they eat only two full meals during the first five days. Nothing is eaten from Monday morning until Wednesday evening. According to western traditions observed in Lent, the prohibition is for not eating flesh on Fridays, and Ash Wednesday. You may eat flesh during other days of Lent. Flesh is commonly called, "meat". This does not include dairy products such as milk and eggs. Neither does flesh consists of fish and seafood. read more
