The two are not mutually exclusive. Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race. There are black and white people who identify as Hispanic. I’m not proud of being both white-ish and of Hispanic descent if that’s what you’re asking. I like my malta and quesadillas and empanadas, and when I hear gaitas I feel all Christmas-y. read more
