Aren't glaciers supposed to melt?

I'm hardly an expert on glaciation, but you do make an interesting point. But I think the concern is about the rate at which glaciers are melting. I'm hoping that someone who is expert on this chimes in. I'm a coastal California guy - so we don't have glaciers. read more
