As a non-dane, what do you think of Denmark?

Austrian here. But I lived in Copenhagen as a kid (1982–1984). I like to return to Copenhagen regularly - last time was in 2014, so I'm due again. I can still read Danish almost perfectly, but my listening comprehension and speech have declined. read more

If you speak English then you could easily survive in Denmark as Dans speak good English. Transport system is great and people are friendly. Christiania is a nice place to visit which is next to the Copenhagen. read more

There is a saying - you can take the Dane out of Denmark but not Denmark out of the Dane. They are a proud and patriotic nation BUT if, as a foreigner, they talk about their country you may well get the opposite impression. read more
