Bear in mind that children learn martial arts differently than adults. The vast majority of kids do not have the skills to understand the underlying physics of martial arts. Most don't even know the parts of the body all that well, and most kids are shaky on right and left well into pre-teen mode. I started studying at 13 and did well--for a kid. read more
