Unless Jinn are gods, atheists are able to believe in them and still be atheists. There are humans who disbelieve in their own existence, or believe they are something other than human, so I imagine a Jinn could believe itself to either not be a Jinn or to not actually exist. Atheist does not mean what you seem to think it does. Atheist means person who does not happen to believe in any gods. Demons/jinn/shedim are not gods. Therefore, the fact that someone is atheist does not have any direct bearing on whether they believe in those things. read more
