T-Mobile phones now have a device unlock app,only unlocked by T-Mobile. I just tried to use Metro PCS on my T-Mobile Note5 last week & it's a no-go. read more

Unless something changed recently, T-Mobile phones do NOT need to be unlocked to be used on Metro PCS. However, I've found its best to tell the activation dept that the phone is unlocked. read more
