An oncologist with MD Radiotherapy degree can practice both chemotherapy and radiotherapy as MD Radiotherapy curriculum and residency training encompasses both. However a DM Medical Oncologist can not practice radiotherapy as that's not in the curriculum or training for Medical Oncology, unless his or her MD is in Radiotherapy (most of the time MD General Medicine or Paediatrics take up Medical Oncology in DM). read more
