Not under the current structure they're under. Hell, there was WESTERN countries that are suffering horribly without good oil prices. The problem is that many of those same Arabian countries are virtually only based on oil. read more

Bahrain, UAE: they have taken the effort to diversify their economies. They may survive post-oil, but will be poorer. The efforts to build banking center etc. depend on them being close to the oil economy. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar: without oil, they are sunk. read more
