Direct democracy would (unnecessarily) suck up everyone’s time and effort, as everyone participates in the governing of the country (i.e., proposing and voting on policy and legislation). read more
Indirect democracy is the same as representative democracy while direct democracy is the same as Athenian democracy. I have not heard of indirect democracy before but direct democracy is common. I think the indirect form was created for the internet and used for intentional misdirection of discussion. read more
