Under 1203.4, the NCIC records (which are now being shared with Canadian authorities), will still show the arrest and will show the dispositionof "1203.4 dismissed." They will probably know how to interpret this just as federal and state law enforcement does in the United States. read more

Border agents will still be able to see your conviction, and while they will also be able to see that it was expunged, this is not necessarily grounds for granting you entry to the country. The only types of expungements that would completely remove inadmissibility are those that remove all traces of a previous conviction, including on your NCIC record (FBI). read more
