Well as a deaf person who uses a hearing aid, once I ate without a hearing aid, and it depends, I couldn't hear myself chewing salad, rice and normal stuff but when it comes to popcorn, potato chips, and hard food, you kinda hear it because you can feel the vibrations made inside the mouth, (they're pretty loud), and plus I cannot hear other's voices but can feel my own's, I don't know if that counts as hearing it, but I sense it as it was a sound. read more
