Dogs can eat pretty much any type of fruit or vegetable. The only ones to stay away from are: grapes, raisins, seeds, onion and garlic. So,a few cherry tomatoes as a treat are fine. My dog loves strawberries and blueberries. read more
So long as the tomato treat is ripe and red in color, no variety of tomato is off-limits. You can safely feed cherry tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes and other varietals, although you may want to feed a lesser quantity of a larger tomato. read more
