I make French toast that way for myself and the rest of the family, so it’s easy to just use more of the ingredients and be able to include the dogs. Just NO NUTMEG!! Of course dogs don’t need syrup or sugary jams, or anything like that either. read more
French toast has a lot of sugar in it. A dogs pancreas is not designed to metabolize sugar and other foods the same way a humans is. You could easily give your dog pancreatitis which can lead to liver damage. read more
As long as the French toast only contains classic French toast ingredients (eggs, milk, bread, cinnamon, sugar) it would be safe for your dog to have a little bit of French toast. So, there’s no need to worry if your dog ate a little bit of French toast. read more
