I'm not a vet, but I'm pretty sure a little bit of artichoke is okay for a dog. I've never seen it on the list of "bad dog foods," and I have scraped out the soft part of steamed artichoke for my own dog. I would avoid giving a dog a whole artichoke, of course, seeing as it does have many "choking" fibrous bits. read more
