Accutane itself can cause mild liver dysfunction so if you drink alcohol on top of taking the medication, the liver is taking another "hit" so to speak. I would strongly advise against drinking alcohol while on Accutane. read more

Alcohol puts severe strain on your kidneys and liver and so does Accutane, as it is Isotretinoin which is a Vitamin A derivative. Thus, avoid using supplements with Vitamin A in it.
