I wouldn't recommend you join. We had a guy that lied about his asthma, got in. Never showed any problems running or anything. However, when we made it to Iraq and summer hit, he almost died on mission from an asthma attack. read more
When a person joins the military, regardless of branch, medical history is part of the enlistment process. In addition to providing a detailed medical history, the recruit must also undergo a thorough medical exam by a physician at MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station). read more
