Huskies are bred to withstand very cold climates. That said, the fur that insulates against cold also insulates them from heat. My Husky prefers the yard to the house and on hot days digs a nice spot under the trees and bushes. read more
So yes, you can own a Husky in these warmer climes. It’s more important for a dog to have a considerate owner than to live in a “proper” place. There are animals in shelters that need homes, there are animals on the street that are starving and diseased. read more
