I would recommend keeping whiskey in a cool (not cold) dark place like a cabinet in a climate controlled house. I wouldn't put whisky in the refrigerator because of the same reason I wouldn't put wines in it. Normal fridge tends to shudder and it might break/split long essential oil chains into smaller ones. Same thing happens when open the bottle and pour the whisky in the glass when air/oxygen is in contact to whisky. read more
