Consider wear the formal shoes with a gel insole, to mitigate the fatigue, and check out those anti fatigue foot lotions that can be applied before wearing the formal shoes. They numb a bit the sole of your feet, so you are less sensitive to uncomfortable shoes. read more
But if I were in your shoes, (both literally, and metaphorically) I don't think it would bother me one bit to wear shoe lifts at least some of the time. Personally, I like to wear sleeveless T-shirts. read more
