Lightning can strike through just about anything that gets in it’s way. The nonsense about rubber tires on your car protecting you from lightning is just that, nonsense. Storm lightning is so fast that even if it were to go thru a window the window would shatter from the heat and speed. Glass is not a conductor so, being struck by lightning thru the window would take the Glass to shatter which would take two strikes. read more

Also glass is not a conductor so being struck by lightning through the window would take the glass being shattered first and then you could be struck by lightning but this would require two strikes. More than one strike hitting the same place is possible but very unlikely. read more
