Can lorikeets be good pets?

In my opinion they make good pets, but are not the best choice. My choice for best lory species are the members of the Chalcopsitta; duyvenbodes, blacks, Yellow Streak, Cardinal and Black Wing. Of the Chalcopsitta my choice would be the Duyvenbode. read more

Lories and Lorikeets are special birds that are different from other members of the parrot tribe. There is no scientific difference between the two names–only that Lories have shorter tails while Lorikeets have longer tails.
