I never had them before untill I was diagnossed with lupus. I think its a sine from your body telling you to slow down and take it easy. I always get night sweats right before and during a flair. Yes I do have lupus symptoms around my cycle. I've noticed that hormones and lupus effect each other and dont play well together. Im not sure why yet. read more

Whilst Lupus will play a part in menstrual cycles and associated symptoms, it is usually medications that are the main cause, for me two meds stand out, Plaquenil and Cellcept, if your on either of those, they could be the contributing factor. read more
