Can major depression lead to grandiose delusions/megalomania?

I don’t know if they are characterized as having major depression, though, since the mania disrupts their lives as much as the depression. Bipolar depression (Bipolar II Disorder) I also don’t think would lead someone to grandiose delusions in and of itself.
