Can mold/mould grow on bamboo?

Yes mould can grow on bamboo especially when you just cut and store it. This is why is better to dry the bamboo ( fire, sun...) before store it. The moild will appear in each section. The best way I found to remove it is to use some red oil , a linseed oil( aceite rojo), but not sure of the name in english. read more
