Am not telling bikes without gears are not good enough for the above. Just that they are not built for the purpose. On the other hand, bikes with gears you’ll be able to ride longer distances without much stress and with much ease. A decent bike with gears are now available under 10K - Hercules, Hero, BTwin (Decathlon), couple of Firefox bikes. read more
