Can my dog die of sadness?

I just ran into this question and I'm about to tell you something different than the other answers. Scout was a rescued German Shepard, he was about 2-3 years old when my dad found him. My neighbors dog died of sadness, it was terrible to see. I remember when the dog owners have gone on vacation for 3 month abroad and left him with the watchman. He refuses to eat., he just stayed at the door and stared at the road waiting for his master to come. read more
