You can most definitely treat someone for bacterial vaginosis using old and inappropriate medicine. The question is whether or not it will be effective. While it can be, it most likely will not. For two big reasons. Dicloxacillin is a third gen penicillin drug iirc. It has broad activity, but it still doesnt have great activity on gram (-) anaerobes. read more
