Can raccoons open doors?

If a doorknob turns very easily and isn't round or smooth, a raccoon might be able open the door. They can get in if the door has a latch or the doorknob is one that is pushed down to open. But door knobs that are smooth and/or round and need to be gripped to turn and open, I'd say it's highly doubtful to impossible a raccoon could get in. read more
