ANY airplane can fly in a Thunderstorm. Just a matter of how long until it is damaged or torn apart. Thunderstorms are avoided by all pilots except in times of Combat. The Stealth coating applied to the F-35 would probably be destroyed by the intense Hail found in these monsters, even if the airframe and windscreen were still in one piece. read more
