Rabies virus gets killed by soap. That is why animal bite wounds are treated by washing them under running water and washing them with soap. So even if the virus was surviving on the towel, it is likely to have Been killed by the soap. In the absence of any cuts on the skin and no direct animal contact, I would say just chill. read more
