Vegans can have anything that isn't meat or isn't an animal product (that would include silk, wool, honey, etc). I enjoy olive oil all the time in my cooking, and vegetable oils are fine too. Yes, dairy-free margarine is fine (as long as it is 100% plant-sourced). read more
