Can weeds and/or poison oak grow in a potted plant?

Weeds are weeds (and I include poison ivy/oak in this) because they grow where they are not wanted. They do this because they have a great ability to grow under a wide variety of circumstances, and to out-compete other plants in doing so. Yes. Weeds grow easily. Poison oak is a vine or shrub and is larger than most weeds so you would notice it earlier and pull it out. Remove weeds asap. I assume you means weeds and not marijuana. It would be foolish to try to grow poison oak as a potted plant. I don’t know much about growing marijuana. Hope this helps. read more

The leaves of this plant look a lot like oak leaves, and like poison ivy, they usually grow in clusters of three. But some kinds of poison oak have five, seven or nine leaves per cluster. Poison oak usually grows as a shrub in the Southeast or along the West Coast. read more
