Wolverine can't survive cyclops fully powered optic blast. It is a laser and none can survive laser but in the marvel comics Vibranium can survive as it acts as a metal at 0 k temperature. For a metal to raise it's temperature from 0 k, an infinite amount of energy is needed. read more

I can't be sure, this is just a long forgotten memory, but I believe that there were two beams, in the Mutant arsenal, that could cut Adamantium. Scotts optic blast, and Dazzlers laser projection at maximum output. Since Scotts blast only produce force and not heat that must be very powerful (when focused to pinpoint accuracy) indeed. read more
