I have had both cropped and uncropped dobes and don't really have a preference either way. Personally I have never dealt with ear infections in my uncropped dobe, but she is also only 9 months old. Many dogs (of all breeds) with floppy ears experience ear infections and yes cropping can help prevent that. Doberman are a cropped and docked breed. read more
