I can't see any doctor saying that its ok for a pregnant woman to donate bone marrow. You can give a blood sample to get on the registry--the odds of being a match are fairly low (its not as easy as matching blood type) but you may end up with a call in a few years where they ask you to follow through with a donation. read more

A: You will not be allowed to donate stem cells while you are pregnant as the procedure may entail you undergoing general anaesthesia (for bone marrow donation) or receiving medications to increase your white blood cells (for stem cell donation) that have not been tested on pregnant women, and hence not proven safe for the foetus. read more
