Wine is often expensive and it would be wasteful to throw it out because of some bobbing pieces of harmless tree bark (cork). read more

However, you really don’t want to drink wine with cork in it and it certainly looks bad to pour wine for your guests when tiny pieces of cork pour out as well. All in all, it's a good idea to remove as much cork as possible before serving the wine. read more
