With all humor aside, I have been driving a RHD car daily for several years as well as other RHD cars on extended driving trips, weekend canyon runs, etc. I have found no situation in normal traffic where I am at any more risk than I would be in a LHD car. read more

It is illegal to drive a newer right hand drive car in the US. The reason isn't the steering wheel location but because of the age. It's illegal to import and register a car newer than 25 years into the US unless it was a US specific model. Obviously no right hand drive car (with exceptions for postal trucks) is a US model. read more
