Can you fry frozen green beans and how?

Sure. You don't want very much oil in the pan though. It will spit as they defrost. I usually add a couple of drops of oil and wipe the pan, take it up to medium heat, toss the beans in and stir constantly. read more

If you want to fry green beans, there’s no way to get them really dry without thawing them first. Even if you pat them down, there will still be frozen water in/around the beans that doesn’t get absorbed by your paper towel, so if you just toss them into hot oil you’re asking for trouble. read more

Saute, stirring occasionally, until the frost is off the beans. Add butter and onions to the beans; stir and saute until the onions are clear and the beans are soft. Add salt and pepper to taste. read more
