Vicodin is not that addictive. As long as you take it as prescribed you would be fine. However, that will not help you tonight because obviously you need a r/x and a trip to the pharm. For now, I would suggest you ice it down really well - maybe 15 minutes or so with a wrap around ice pack. If you don't have one, a package of frozen peas works great. read more

NO - do NOT get pain killers. Put a tensor bandage on your foot, and put a sock on it - then elevate it as often as you are able. You do not want to get a pain killer addiction. read more
