The fennec fox is native to North Africa but is no stranger to California. Licensed breeders are aloud to house the pet but have trouble selling to a open market inside California. The only place you can get a truly domesticated fox is from a Russian domestication experiment. In addition you’d basically need a license to farm them as a fur bearing animal. Foxes stink; go to a wildlife park and walk past the fox cage; its worse than the skunks. You can look into getting a fennic fox, if you’re rich. read more
