Can you mix chicken and beef broth?

The first time I had mixed meat soup was a korean meal. It had pork and chicken and fish all in the same bowl. It was very strange at first, but after a couple of bites, delicious. Yes, you can add the chicken broth. I have made onion soup, for which I use beef broth. To thin it out, I used chicken broth, which was all I had. It was fine. Much of the flavor of broth is in the salt, so you'll be fine. If anything, the chicken broth's slight taste difference will add yet another layer of flavor to the soup. read more
