I had a nice view of the Salton Sea. A lof of local was fishing by the water. My final destination was the Sonny Bono Wild life refuge which was another 45-60 min drive from North Shore. If you have the time, it is worth a drive. You would be rewarded with abundant wildlife, mainly different kinds of birds. read more
