No. Tarantulas do not have the intellectual capacity to be trained to do anything. They have not even be demonstrated to be aware that we humans are anything more than a random stimulus, let alone interact with us in any meaningful way. They run on nerves and instinct. read more

Although some people do handle their tarantulas, I do not. I believe it stresses them out. I would rather sit back and observe what wonderful creatures they are. Each and every one has their own distinct personality. Some can be grumpy while others are very calm and laid back. My largest tarantula (Helga) is as big as my hand. read more
