Is China-made toilet paper safe?

I haven't actually heard of any "scandals" involving fluorescent materials in Chinese toilet paper. That's more-or-less the technical term for "whitening agents". People want pristine white toilet paper. read more

Apparently there are health concerns on chemical additives in toilet paper in other countries - not just China. It's easy to find health blogs and websites "exposing" these. There are health and safety issues with toilet paper, but it's mostly on the production side, particularly the recycling. read more

Toilet paper is not scarce, it is not just not supplied in many public toilets. WHere to put the paper depends on the sewage system to which the toilet in connected. Not an issue in hotels, modern shopping malls but an issue in older building. read more
