Doubtful, since the two animals have never lived during the same time period…and anyway not a fair fight, as a t-rex could weigh at least double, and perhaps five times as much as the hippo. Adult male hippos top out around 4,000 pounds; adult t-rex could be anywhere from 11,000 to 20,000 pounds. read more
