Could I go deep sea diving in an astronaut's space suit?

Astronauts train underwater in a 40' deep tank at the Johnson Space Center, but they have scuba divers to assist them. Space suits are air tight (of course) but not really designed for underwater use. read more

A space suit is much warmer then a normal deep-sea diving suit; and includes extra warm clothes and insulation material to prevent the user from freezing in sub-zero temperatures. read more
