It is better to plant a giant sequoia tree outside your home window and watch it grow rather than the olden days of chopping into a beautiful ancient tree. It is not good wood structure for building anyway. read more
The Giant Sequoia is adapted to a specific area and specific conditions. Naturally it only grows in about 70 groves in California although there are attempts to cultivate them in other areas. In order to grow a Sequoia, you would need a clear area with full and a mineral rich soil close to a clean stream (they love their water) and not a lot of competition. read more
