Revelation 3:14 is where Jesus calls himself the “beginning of the creation of God.” Collossians 1:15 says that he is the firstborn of every creature. As such, he can only be “a god”, but not the Almighty God, Yahweh. read more
No one knows what Jesus was thinking or if He viewed himself as God before the crucifixion. Based on my (admittedly very limited) knowledge of the bible - Jesus was a humble and selfless man, I doubt he had god-like ideations. read more
During these last days before His crucifixion, Jesus stayed in Bethany on the eastern slope of the Mount of Olives, probably residing with Lazarus, Mary, and Martha.
