My guess would be no. Plato died several hundred years before Jesus birth. Jesus was educated by Jewish educators. I expect they did not dwell much on ancient history of non-Jewish cultures. read more

Plato does not speak in his own dialogues. Socrates is the main character in most of the dialogues, certainly in Republic, but that does not mean Socrates is always speaking for Plato. The historic Socrates, like Jesus, wrote nothing, and like Jesus died he for his virtues. Unlike Jesus, Socrates was not the perfect son of God. read more

Virtually nobody denies the existence of Plato or Aristotle, hence Socrates. All we know of Socrates comes via Plato as Socrates, like Jesus of Nazareth, wrote nothing himself [at least known to survive]. read more
